The registration for our New Life Mission Church 2010 Summer Retreat is now open! The retreat site for this year is again the scenic Pepperdine University in Malibu. The retreat is for 2 nights and 3 days, July 3-5, Saturday to Monday (which is a holiday for most).

We are especially excited this year because renown and esteemed theologian and pastor Iain Duguid is our featured speaker. He is the author of numerous commentaries and contributor to many study bibles including the ESV Study Bible and the New Living Translation Study Bible. Most importantly, Dr. Duguid is a wonderful preacher and has a deep passion for Christ and His Church. We are so excited to have him speak that we are flying him all the way from Pennsylvania to come and open up God’s Word for us.  You can read more about him at http://www.preachingtheword.com/IainDuguid.asp.

Our accommodations are set in dormitories, close to our general meeting room and children’s room. Each dormitory includes its own min-refrigerator and microwave. Again, we will have access to many of the campus facilities (meeting rooms, fields and running tracks, swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts and campus dining).  This year the meeting hall is again close for families. 

Costs for this year’s retreat are the following:

Costs (Based on 2 nights/6 meals)

•          18 and over: $125     

•          11-17 yrs: $105     

•          6-11 yrs: $85     

•          3-5 yrs: $65     

•          2 & under: Free     

•          College Students: $105

The first child is full price. The second and third child together, however much they cost together according to their age) are added together and then discounted by half. So if child #1 (7yrs old) cost $85 and child #2 and #3 together (ages 3 and 4) cost $130 it would mean: Child 1 ($85) + Child 2 and Child 3 (65+65 then divided in half)= $150 for the 3 kids. 

So for this family, total cost would be 2 adults (125*2= 250) + 3 kids at discounted rate (150)= $400. We’ll be collecting the fees starting the first week of June.
